Really is waterproof- catches the mess |

We purchased two of these for our daughter's latex crib and we haven't been disappointed. In fact, we opted to buy a twin sized one to protect the latex mattress we have in her room. They are machine washable and dry quickly on a drying rack. I love that they aren't offgassing (it's just fabric!), and they have caught pee, poop, and vomit and kept it from soaking the mattress.
The only thing to note- the size is just a bit smaller than the crib mattress, so you do need to be careful with your positioning. It's nearly as wide but just a smidge shorter than the mattress.
